Professional support with BV liquidation
Ending a Dutch BV (liquidation) can be a complex process. It includes, among other things, the formal dissolution, settling corporate income tax and VAT, and deregistering from the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) Trade Register. It is crucial to handle this carefully and in line with legal requirements to avoid legal and financial risks.
SFAA’s experts are ready to guide you through the entire process. We take care of the full wind-down, so you can focus on your next step. With our support, you can be sure of a correct and smooth liquidation.
What does the BV liquidation process look like?
In 4 simple steps, we guide you through the entire BV liquidation process. Below, you can read which steps we take and how we ensure your BV is dissolved carefully and in compliance with the rules:
To successfully liquidate your BV this year, it’s important that your annual accounts and corporate income tax return (VPB) are correct. We review this carefully. If we find any errors, our experts correct them immediately so you don’t run into delays.
If you want to close your BV, for example as of 30 September, we make sure everything is properly finalized on time: we cancel your VAT number, stop payroll taxes, and process your administration. If there is a positive closing equity balance, we also arrange the required dividend distribution. We then prepare the annual accounts and corporate income tax return (VPB) for the current year.
Once all figures are correct, we draft the minutes of the dissolution resolution for the BV liquidation.
During the BV liquidation process, we monitor whether everything has been done correctly and whether the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) has processed the dissolution properly. We also submit the final corporate income tax return (VPB) to the Dutch Tax Administration on time. This way, we ensure everything runs smoothly and in compliance with the rules.
What does a BV liquidation cost?
At SFAA, we professionally guide you through the entire SNA audit process. For our standard support, we charge a fixed fee of €1,300, including corporate income tax and deregistration.
Please note that additional costs may apply if the annual accounts for the previous financial year still need to be prepared. These additional activities are charged on a time-and-materials basis, so you always know exactly what to expect.
